They lost more than they should due to injuries, and the committee didn't take their advanced metrics seriously. Kenpom has them as the 9th best team going into this game.

They're legit, and experienced. The seniors were on the Final Four team, the undefeated team, and were just in the S16. They're going to be a tough out.

Yet they're only down 6. Amazing. But they look like the stage is too big for them. Sloppy basketball.

Sometimes you can watch an NCAA Tournament game for 2-3 minutes and know that one team has no chance of victory, even if the score is not out of hand yet. I could tell that game was over at 12-10.

USC and Providence are two ferociously mediocre teams. I wonder if fans of other teams had that impression watching the UConn game today. In any event, the USC/PC game is entertaining, but it would take a miracle for either of these teams to beat UNC and would be an achievement to keep the final score within 10 points against the Tar Heels.

I can't see Greg Marshall without thinking of him playing the role of Kemba Walker on WSU's scout before Maui. A short chubby guy staring at the ball while he dribbles pretending to be one of the quickest guards college basketball has ever seen.

Incidentally, it's insane that Van Vleet and the white kid are still in college.

Also, Miller: put your jacket on, bud. No one wants to see that.

Sucks that Stony Brook had to catch UK first round, I think they could have had a chance against a Purdue type P5 team at that 4-5 seed level. Calipari talks alot of nonsense but what he said about the NCAA underseeding his team screwing over the team they face in the early rounds has some truth to it.
