I don't know how reliable Jerry Palm is but UConn went from an 8 seed in his bracket earlier this week to a 12 seed playing in the First Four in his bracket updated today. So besides how bad that epic collapse was, it was also a devastating loss for their NCAA Tournament resume.

No it wasn't, Palm is not really someone to pay attention to at this point.

Lunardi had us move from an 8 to a 9 seed with it.

Here is another bracket projection which is much more reliable then Palm: http://sports.yahoo.com/featured/ncaab/bigboard/

Palm's projections are pretty strange. He had UConn out of the tournament a couple weeks ago and then moved them to 10. Then to 8 and then back to 12 after 1 loss. 1 loss shouldn't move any team 4 spots.

Palm's are weird. I think the Lunardi move from 8 to a 9 is much more realistic than a 4 seed drop from one game
