Baylor could be toast after the injury. Really a shame for the young man.

There are six 1 loss teams and one 2 loss team (Michigan 5-2) ahead of Memphis and the other undefeated AAC teams. The block is totally on which makes any jump to the top 4 nearly impossible. The only good news is ND at #9 which gives (or should give-lol) Temple some juice if they win.

There's been very little separation between the top 4 AAC teams (all are undefeated except for Temple & Navy who both lost to ND). All are very sound teams - can't wait to see them start playing head-to-head.

Poll's Out:

IMO Michigan is the one team that sticks out as having no business being ranked above either unbeaten AAC Team. Barely scraped by Minn this week. In fact I think #23 Temple would beat them.

The Stanford ND game to end the regular season really sets up nicely. Could potentially be for a final 4 spot. I see Baylor possibly losing 1 or 2 with some tough teams on the schedule and a backup QB.

Unconscionable - 2 losses cannot warrant that ranking.

Except their loses are against #6 (on last play) and #13 - add in the Harbaugh effect and you get the ranking.

It will either be validated or invalidated on Tuesday night.

I get there's a lot of good teams out there but still don't get Iowa at #10 and Houston at #18. That's a huge spread given the Hawks schedule.

Guarantee the 1 vote for Navy was from Diaco
That's the AP poll, not the coaches they were second in the receiving votes category for the coaches poll.

Most importantly, UConn is 98 in the CBS 128. TOP 100 BABY

Pretty sure the CBS 128 isn't updated yet which means we will maybe break 90 this week! Not too bad considering that we started off somewhere around 115-120

I'm dropping Florida to #15 and swapping in Houston right behind Michigan State to #14. FL overrated based on their body of work.

Temple and Navy should both be ahead of Mississippi State with little between either and UCLA/FSU.

Wisconsin and Northwestern play an eliminator this coming week ahead of Memphis who is likely to lose @Houston imo after the Navy debacle anyway.

I understand this poll has been supplanted by the Playoff Cartel Rankings but here is my Top 25 after this weekend. If the system was legit I feel anyone in the top 14 should still have an outside shot at top 4 or at least a major bowl.

RANK TEAM

1 Clemson
2 Notre Dame
3 Ohio State
4 Alabama
----------------------------------
5 Iowa
6 Oklahoma
7 Mich St
8 Oklahoma St
9 Houston
10 Baylor
11 North Carolina
12 Florida
13 TCU
14 Navy
------------------------------
15 Utah
16 Michigan
17 LSU
18 FSU
19 Stanford
20 Northwestern
21 Memphis
22 Wisconsin
23 Bowling Green
24 Temple
25 Toledo

And I'm not a Notre Dame fanboy but they've beaten good teams and only loss close on the road to #1 Clemson. Problem for them is remaining schedule not great. Could fall out of top 4.

No way ND is that high after Temple lost! They have no big wins on their schedule to justify that ranking. Stranger things have happened but I would be really surprised

I get that (and everybody loves Bama/SEC so it won't happen) but mainly based on a close loss to my #1 Clemson. And Temple is arguably still a top 25 team when you look at the other options out there. But ND has nowhere to go but down from here and the Big 12 has a path, but only if a 1 loss team like Oklahoma runs the table. Otherwise they eat each other in the remaining schedule.

If UCLA stays in the top 25 there should be an investigation.
