12 CBS national games for the AAC a year. They'll be showing UConn. UConn will have great exposure. They're already cooking with OOC.

Sounds like you have a serious case of UConn envy.

Ollie can coach Purvis up and will. Gottfried sucks. You're an idiot.
Doesn't mean much when nobody's watching. You think anybody cares about UConn vs. Tulsa? What about UConn vs. SMU? ECU? Tulane? Cincinnati? Your best conference game is against freaking Memphis, a CUSA school. Compare that to Louisville vs. Duke, UNC, Syracuse, Pitt, Notre Dame, etc. It's not even comparable. Don't try and rationalize it. You guys are officially in a mid major conference come 2014.

Louisville was a pawn and a compromise pick. It was a short term choice to appease a conference that was in some peril. Before too long, you'll be despised and laughed at by your conference mates. Enjoy your stay in the ACC.
UConn is a reject. You guys are the newly crowned king of the mid majors. Enjoy your eternity in AAC irrelevancy.

Tell me how Pitino did in his first year at UL? 19-13. NIT. Fourth year he made the final four from CUSA. I think UL's history alone would tell you that conference isn't the end all be all.
Now you're comparing Pitino to Ollie. This board is hysterical.

Pitino ran your high school squad off the court last year. That game wasn't even remotely as close as the score indicated. Next year we'll be even better with more depth at every position. The good news for you is Siva is gone. The bad news is his replacement, Chris Jones, is every bit as good as Siva was. The ugly news is Russ Smith (who dropped 23 in your half filled gymnasium last year) is back.

I'm personally expecting a 15 point win over UConn next year. Anything less would be a disappointment.

Don't be so hard on Card fan
He lives in a state were UK vs Looville fans are about 100 to 1.
That little love has to hurt.
Ky was my second home for 30 years. The love for UK is second only to Nebraska's love of their State University.
I always felt sorry for Cardinal fans.
No matter what they do they will always be second best.

These CUSA schools are historically UL's rivals, assclown. Expect a warm welcome from the ACC fans, who have been waiting forever for a community college to come save their athletic ass. We know our place in the world, you clearly don't know yours.

And by the way, it appears that Pitino himself does not share you view on Kevin Ollie nor UConn basketball.

And you also forgot to mention that Coach Ollie was a finalist for the national Rookie Coach of the year award.

I may just watch Louisville play at Cameroon just to hear what the Duke Crazies come-up with. Should be entertaining.

You have a mental deficiency for not understanding that CBS is contracted to show the AAC on broadcast network TV 12 times. The fact that they will NOT be showing SMU and Tulane etc. is to UConn's benefit, because it means they WOILL be showing UConn. And yeah, UConn v. Cincy was a national game last year, UConn v. Memphis will be a national game this year. and they play these teams twice, not once. UConn v. Temple will be national on ESPN or 2, book it. UConn will play twice on CBS with its great OOC schedule featuring Florida, Kansas, Indiana, Maryland, Stanford, Washington, etc. over the next 2 years, and those teams blow away the teams on Louisville's OOC schedule. In short, you don't know WTF you're talking about.

I'm trying to think of the last time I made 55 postings on another school's board. (Or one posting, for that matter.)

Nope.

UConn will never be in the ACC
The ACC will only offer UConn if UConn has an offer from the B1G
IF That's the case guess which one UConn chooses
The ACC wouldn't care about the Big 12
as that move is neutral.

Seems pretty likely at this point that no one will want us until someone wants us. Then all of them will want us. Should be a helluva show.

Let's limit this to the next 5 years

2% chance for B12.
20% chance for B10 or ACC.
78% chance nothing happens.

Congrats on your championship last year. It feels great to be on top of the world. We know. We have been there many times. Thing is, you dont automatically stay there for a second or third chances. UL challenge will be staying on top. Rick the mouth can easily be somewhere else if he chooses and those opportunities are probably knocking. UL can be down as fast as it came up. Schools go on 5 to 7 year swings of success. UConn has been very fortunate in this sense. Lets see what UL does. In the meantime, have a little respect for a school that has accomplished something UL has yet to - stay on top.

cardsfan123 is literally the worst poster on the entire Boneyard.

That really is saying something when you consider some of the jealous PC fans, angry Cuse fans, reject UMass fans, nutjobs, inbreds, a**holes, illiterates and losers who frequent this board.

The former big east commissioner got blindsided twice in September of the last 2 years, its almost September and time for another former big east commissioner to hear bad news UConn , and Cincinnati to ACC. That would keep with previous happenings, by coming out of the blue, with no warning until it was done, and would be payback for Maryland.

UK is our main rival. They refused to play us until 1983 in basketball and 1996 in football. I've always enjoyed the rivalry with them and it's one of the best rivalries in college basketball.

Going forward we won't be playing Memphis or Cincinnati. You will be. We've moved past them. We're always looking to improve our position. Not too long ago we played in the Metro for basketball and independent in football. Then we joined CUSA. In 2005 we EARNED our way into a BCS conference. We're stuck in a crap league this season but in 2014 we'll be joining a true power 5 conference. There isn't another school in the country that has come further than us the last 20 years.

Your place in the world is in a league chock full of misfits on the outside looking in with nowhere else to go. Ours is in the best basketball conference in the country. Some of your fans have a hard time understanding and accepting that.

Could you be a bigger a? Do you realize how pompous and entitled you sound?

You are on our board. Go mouth off to your new brothers in the ACC.

Blah blah blah. You don't know what YOU'RE talking about. You HAVE to have a good OOC schedule because your RPI will be garbage come March after having to play Podunk U in the AAC every week. After December everybody in the country will have forgotten UConn while you're playing your regional games that nobody cares about. UConn vs. Temple? Seriously? You think that draws ANY interest from anybody? UConn vs. Cincinnati featured two unranked teams. Big deal. If that's the highlight of your conference schedule then I truly feel bad for you.

Let's examine that 12 game theory. In a conference of 12 teams playing 18 conference games how many total games will there be? And if only 12 of those is "nationally broadcast" what percentage of the games played will be seen by anybody? And of those 12 how many will UConn be participating in? I have a feeling that number is a LOT lower than you'd expect. The truth is that nobody outside of Connecticut cares about UConn and thus your nationally televised games have been decreased as a direct result of not being able to leech off a powerful basketball conference anymore. That's also the same reason the TV deal is so low. You guys simply aren't worth anything.

Oh, and say goodbye to Big Monday. ESPN knew how pathetic this conference is with or without UConn and decided it was in everyone's best interests to give it to a real conference like the ACC. So no more prime time Monday slots for you.

Facts? Is it not a fact that Louisville smeared UConn in the most recent meeting between the two schools? Is it not a fact that your arena has had trouble filling itself when your team isn't ranked in the top 5? Is it not a fact that Siva graduated? Please tell me what I typed that isn't a fact.

Fact is you are an insufferable . For you to talk as much crap as you do, on a board for a school that you aren't even a fan of, is beyond pathetic.

Yep that 20-10 record with three future NBA players speaks volumes for Ollie's coaching ability. I'm sure all the AAC schools are trembling.

Pitino just won a championship. He's in the Hall of Fame. He's got another 5-10 years before we find his replacement. We've got a top 5 class coming in. I could go on and on but I'm not going to waste my time telling you what you already know. He ran your pathetic squad off the court last season. Hell we had more trouble with Northern Iowa than UConn. We've got a legitimate shot to repeat as champions next year. You guys will be lucky to make the postseason.

UConn is on a downward spiral, Louisville is not.
In five years Pitino and Strong will both be gone and Louisville's slide will happen. Lucky for you timing is everything though!
