-> UConn, which offered Turner a few weeks after Mora was introduced as the program's next head coach, hosted Turner and his parents for an official visit this past weekend. That's when Turner knew that he wanted to play for Mora and offensive coordinator Nick Charlton. "It was a great visit," Turner said. "Coach Mora was just talking about all his experience and that really stood out to me. He's a real genuine coach and I look forward to making history with him at UConn."

Turner likes how Mora helped mold Brent Hundley into an NFL Draft pick at UCLA years ago and has called plays on Sundays. "That definitely played a role," Turner said. "He knows a lot of stuff that most college coaches don't. Him and my parents had some great conversations." <-

The offer list is first class as is the completion percentage of 68%. He must be a very accurate passer. Another great pickup.

If the offer list is accurate this must be our highest rated high school QB recruit since Orlovsky. Quite an accomplishment for Mora and the new staff.

When Mora was hired I was kind of lukewarm on it. Jokes on me. Take a look at our collection of QBs now compared to when he was announced.
Sweet lord.

The bigger underlying issue is about approach. Structure. Nick Charlton (and Mora) has exponentially the better vision going forward than the former guys. I wouldn't matter who was competing with us. Why would you sit forward and listen.

"Per the 247Sports' database, he's in line to become the second-highest ranked quarterback signee in school history and will likely be the highest-ranked prospect to ink with the Huskies since linebacker Cory Jasudowich back in 2013."
