Hopefully it will be relatively mild and not strung out with successive cases.Sadly bound to happen given what Omicron is. Hopefully this is the one stoppage and we get over it soon…hope those affected bounce back in no time!
You can still get it while vaccinated and I think that players returning from the holiday break plays a big part in this and other ones aroundI thought they were all vaccinated?
Omicron gets around vaccines, also depends which vaccine. If had vaccine & booster shot most breakthrough cases are mild / non-symptomatic. It's everywhere right now, if you're indoors without a mask with lots of people there is good chance you'll test positive regardless of vaccine status. The vaccine hopefully helps prevent you from getting really sick.I thought they were all vaccinated?
They are. But if someone is symptomatic they still test that person and then close contacts, which would be the entire team.I thought they were all vaccinated?
I think this was his dis on the vaccineYou can still get it while vaccinated and I think that players returning from the holiday break plays a big part in this and other ones around
And unfortunately for Hurley and co. being “fully vaccinated” (without a booster) means pretty much nothing in terms of possibility to test positive and become ill. Not having everyone boosted puts them at high risk to have a pause. So this felt inevitable unfortunately.Tough news, and probably a reality check of where things are right now with Covid. Hurley just said a few days back how the entire team and staff is vaccinated with some of them having the boosters. If more than 1 or 2 guys have tested positive for Covid, that is not a good sign.
