At the risk of stating the obvious, no one in Houston cares about the basketball schedule or results. In Houston, basketball is a minor distraction between the end of football season and the start of football spring practice.

Tough ribs are the product of cooking them at too high a heat, not the length of time you cook them. I've found a cook temp of 235 to 250 degrees to be the sweet spot.
