Junior Day A Success for Huskies

The UConn Football program held their first junior day of the year on Thursday, which culminated in attendees taking in the men’s basketball game at Gampel on Thursday in an electric atmosphere.

New Canaan quarterback Mike Collins was among the visitors and his night ended with an offer. The 6′ 5″ QB was named CIAC Class L All-State in 2014 when he threw for 2,624 yards, 32 TD’s and 8 INT’s. Collins was the Class L state championship MVP and has been named captain heading into 2015.
