Jalen Adams Is A Husky

For most people Mondays are always negative. However, on this Monday coach Ollie has tons of extra pep in his step, to host 2015 SF Derrick Jones nonetheless for a visit, as does every big UConn fan right about now. 2015 PG Jalen Adams, who some have called Shabazz 2.0, has decided to verbally commit to UConn.

Hailing from Roxbury, Massachusetts to superbly talented lead guard has been rising tons over this summer. His AAU team, Mass Rivals, was undefeated in the Adidas Gauntlet with him playing for them. Adams averaged 22.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists in his nine games on the gauntlet this summer. He’s only getting better at this point and he’s the perfect fit for coach Ollie’s offensive style.

Adams was without a doubt the top guy on UConn wish list. Ollie and his staff had been following everywhere he has gone for the past year and they accomplished their goal. He’s UConn second commitment to go along with fellow 2015 guard Will Jackson.
