Weekly Recruiting Update, 7/29/13

Class of 2014:

Kelly Oubre (SF): During the final live period he said UConn, Kentucky, Kansas, Georgetown, and Florida have been making the most contact with him. Per Rivals.

Bonzie Colson (PF): After playing at tremendous game on Wednesday he said that UConn, Miami (Fla.), Florida State, Butler, Notre Dame, Iowa State, and Georgetown are the main schools that he is considering. Per Rivals.

Josh Perkins (PG): He cut his list down to give officially. The five schools left are UConn, Minnesota, Gonzaga, UCLA, and Kentucky who has yet to offer him. His dad also continues to say Perkins will officially visit in August and will commit on August 25th. Per Afam Zagoria.

Daniel Hamilton (SG): There were some rumors circulating about him and how solid his commitment was to UConn because of his brothers situation. However, they have been cleared up. Daniel is solid with UConn. Per Dinos Trigonis and Jerry Mayer.

Goodluck Okonoboh (C): He mentioned UConn, Indiana, Duke, Louisville, Kentucky, N.C. State, and Florida as the man schools he focusing on. Per Rivals.

Abdul Malik-Abu (PF): He announced a top ten this past Thursday. The schools on the list are UConn, NC State, Florida, Kansas State, Miami, Kentucky, Iowa State, Providence, UCLA, and St Johns.

Jared Terrell (SG): He also announced at top ten this past Thursday. His top ten included UConn, Florida, Cincinnati, Providence, Miami, OSU, St Johns, UCLA, URI, and Xaiver.

Devin Robinson (SF): This past live period on Saturday he said he has offers from UConn, Florida State, Florida, Miami, Texas, Indiana, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, and Providence. Per Scout.

Kameron Chatman (SF): He said that UConn, Arizona, Oregon, Michigan, and USC are recruiting him the hardest. He also wants to cut his list down a little more and then go on his official visits soon in order to commit in the fall. Per Rivals.

Jordan McLaughlin (PG): He said that he will most likely use four of his five official visits on UConn, USC, Kansas, and Indiana. Per Rivals.

Kaleb Joseph (PG): He cut us. Per ESPN.

Kahari Beaufort (PG): He will be cutting down his list sometime this week. Per himself.

Isaiah Whitehead (SG): He stated that he has not cut his list and is completely wide open. Per himself. This is contrary to some reports that he’s down to six. However, this is good for UConn because it looks like they are trying to get back in on Whitehead. They made a statement going three deep for him on Sunday.

 

Class of 2015:

Jaylen Brown (SF): This past week he said a few new schools are starting to enter his recruitment. Those new schools are UConn, UCLA, and Auburn.

Malachi Richardson (SG): He said that it would be a privilege to play at UConn. Per Jack Legwin.

Jonathan Laurent (SF): He said he has picked up new interest from UConn, Clemson, VCU, and Texas. Per Corey Pegram.
