Zion will dominate Tacko

How can people be claiming “Zion created all the contact, that’s a no call” and also “Taylor got hammered on the last shot?” Take off your UCF glasses

I think no call was the proper call in both cases.

C'mon the kid's a freak of nature. He didn't even play that well tonight and he put up 32-11.

And not for nothing, but he spent a quarter of the season on the shelf. This is what, his 4th game back or something?

This is a really strange board.
Very strange, 325 lbs.? I can’t with these analogies....

Love the following players...

Z. Williamson
J. Morant
C. White
D. Hunter
J. Culver

I think all five players have a strong upside in the NBA.

.-.
It's over
UCF was real good and Dawkins Jr played his way into the draft discussion
Up next - Liberty or VaTech yeah YAWN

I think people take more issue with bull-rushing Taylor than the contact with Fall. The foul on Tacko was a reasonable call in a vacuum.

The issue is that they swallowed the whistle when Zion committed an offensive foul, then took it back out when Fall made contact, then swallowed it again when Barrett pushed off Dawkins on the offensive rebound and on UCF's drive.

BTW, when UCF got the shot clock basket, Tacko was in the lane for 22 seconds. Would rather the tickey tack stuff not get called, just gotta make the plays. You box out properly, that little push won’t impact you.
The next time they call a three second violation in college will be the first. The NBA calls it all the time.

Virginia Tech realizing they have to actually play 100%. Once they do the talent separates.

Good. Screw Liberty. They'd get slaughtered by Duke anyway. At least VT has a puncher's chance.

He had 4 fouls, including on one of the previous possessions. Reddish had 4 as well...
GAME DECIDING CALLS!!!! You can't be suggesting that the blocking call on Fall was a good call and ZW never charged or used his arm to push defenders? No one is that blind except the NCAA paid referee's.

The blocking foul on Fall was absolutely the right call. I don't see how an impartial viewer could think otherwise. Zion probably should have been called for a charge before that, but, again, in these games you rarely see that call, fair or not.

UCF didn't get screwed. They missed a wide-open alley-oop that essentially wins them the game. Everything else is sour grapes.

In the end the record book shows a win for Duke. None of this matters. They survived to play another day.

The point is: if they're letting Zion play through contact on the charge, they should let Tacko play through contact at the rim. You can't say "the blocking foul [on Tacko] was the right call" and then also say "it should have been a charge [on Zion], but they never call it there".

The call on Fallwas the correct call. Failing to call thecharge on Zion wasn't. However, UCF had their chances.

One of the best games I have watched in years. Could possibly be THE critical game in determining the eventual Champion. That being said, I feel badly for the UCF players who played great and really deserved to win the game.
