Yes! Love the kid and he’s only a freshmen. I don’t care about the mistakes he’s making. He needs to start for the rest of the season.

Kid looked good out there. Mistakes happen but showed some some precision and toughness.

If Edsall switches back to Beaudry I'll be extremely disappointed. It's about time we develop QB that will play for more than 1 or 2 seasons.

For a freshman he was poised. He had every reason to run for cover after the way the first half ended. He came out, clearly they opened up the playbook a bit more, and he delivered. He throws guys open. He anticipates well for a freshman

Most accurate QB I've seen in a UConn uniform in over a decade. Great footwork in the pocket, good anticipation, and quick release. Give the kid the keys and open up the offense.

As evidenced today, he'll make mistakes but he needs to play to learn from them and improve. JZ has undeniable talent and as a true freshman he's got some runway... He needs to be starter.
