It's happening...I think. O'Kay, it's an ugly game and we are feeling cocky, but really is it not worth looking at and commenting on...Sunday night supper or The Great Race notwithstanding!

KY seems to have woken after last weekend. And Zags out of their league.

Another snooze fest of a game.

Staying in a zone when a team has hit that many 3's?

Anyone awake?

Ah, I say Ah still have faith that this will be a ball game. ;)

Oh you of little faith....sorry I watched a certain movie with the male star of stars last night...Clooney and lots of red necks....name the movie and win a LIKE.

1st Hint: Go to Sleep my little Baby.

Well KY blew something like a 16 point lead in the last game so don't give up on it yet.
Not saying that will happen again but just to be safe don't turn off the game just yet :)

KY is not in the top 50 in 3-pt percentage (less than 34%). Tonight: 63%.

Graves kept Kayla Standish on the bench the entire half with two fouls. With her Gonzaga can compete with Kentucky, but without her it is another story. I would have rolled the dice and played her. Protecting her only works if you don't lose the game with her sitting on the bench.

Has it already been noted that UK's PG, Amber Smith, was Tiffany's high school teammate at Winter Haven

O'Kay, a hopeful prediction goes awry...I'm going to go finish making dinner. Another not so good for WCBB...Zags did not show up tonite!

I have no problem with the top two seeds all making it as long it doesn't happen every season. Lot of quality teams should make for some good games over the next couple of days.

KY hitting from 3pt land makes them a much more dangerous team. Hopefully not a new trend.

Has any team ever made it to the E8 without playing a team from a power conference? Obviously, Gonzaga and Green Bay have strong systems and are well-coached, but the last time UK played teams with elite athleticism, they did fare so well.

Then again, perhaps winning the three in a row will help UK psychologically after a rough end of the season.

If UK hits 60+% from three-point and against UConn, I'm confident they will win. However, between UConn's superior defense and simple regression to the mean, I don't expect that they will.

Guess the UCONN fans left early to beat the heavy traffic out of Kingston

Kentucky plays with a level of effort and intensity that's remeniscent of UConn without as much precision. UConn will need to execute, shrug off turnovers, and take advantage of UK's cold spells when they happen.

Kingston is not close to anything. I live pretty close to UConn's campus, and it's 95 minutes to the Ryan Center from my house. And most people live significantly west of me.

From TV... it looks like a great arena for a regional.... perfect size...... seems like it is a modern place as well.

Yup. Still I have grow to expectupsets from the Zags ... men and women.

I wonder if Riquana Williams for Miami has been kicking herself the past few weeks. Miami vs KY would have been the most entertaining Sweet 16 game of them all I believe.
