Zach Rugg to play in Big 33 with Jon Hicks

Zach was a late addition to replace a kid going to Rutgers. These two should represent UConn very well this weekend. Game is being broadcast on the NFL Network. Saturday at 7:00 pm.

3 year stater, 2 time first team all-state...surprised he wasn't selected initially. I'm sure in a state that size there are a lot of worthy players, good for him!!

Was listening to Mike and Mike this morning, they were talking with Ben Roethlisberger about this game saying there has been a player from the Big 33 in every Super Bowl.

I was wondering if any other Uconn recruits have played in this game. And if so who? Sounds like coach P is bringing in some very talented players. Good luck Rugg & Hicks

Gary Bardzak played in the game in 2007.
