As of Today (10/31) Youtube TV is not broadcasting any of the ABC/Disney/ESPN channels due to a contract dispute. If they don't resolve the dispute by Nov. 4th, Youtube TV subscribers will not be able to watch the season opener on ESPN.

If you have other streaming access to ESPN, such as ESPN+ or one of the Disney bundles that includes ESPN, you should be able to watch it live.

More screwing around. I got this notice today that YouTube TV was dropping ESPN and ABC. Louisville game coming up 11/4. So what's a poor boy/girl to do? Well, drop YouTube TV if your subscription is complete (or wait until it is). Switch to Hulu+ Live TV. They are running a 3-month special price for about $69/mo. They have ESPN. If you like your Hulu, you can keep your Hulu.
In my case, I've paid YouTube 'til 11/25, so I'd lose the balance if I cancel now. I'll cancel before 11/25. Next week I'll sign up for Hulu+ TV and plan to keep it while YouTube diddles with its content. Of course, there's only 1 other ESPN game on the UConn schedule (12/2, S.Fla.). But there shouldn't be any reason to drop Hulu unless they start futzing around with content, too. And I'll save about $60 over the first 3 months with the promo.
Isn't this just too much? Stay tuned.

If you try Hulu and also use an iPad to watch games, good luck with that. I spent hours last year trying to convince Hulu that I was actually in the state of Connecticut. No matter what I did, it simply kicked me back to the screen where you enter your location. I was finally able to use the SNY an app for a workaround for one game, but then I canceled the subscription because I wouldn’t have been able to watch anything else that was local content. I was so excited for this year, because I was finally going to be able to watch games again, and now this happens. UGH!!!!

I have not looked into this offer but have seen commercials from Sling TV where you can pay for a single day of service for about $5.00 or pay for a weekend.
Like I said, no idea what the deal actually consists of...

I have YTTV with ESPN+ (Select) as of this morning I cannot watch anything but ESPN+
I’ve been looking at possibly picking up Hulu + Live TV or ESPN Unlimited. Just waiting to see if they solve it quick like the last time.

I feel like they will have to come to a resolution quickly. I'm not sure how YouTube Tv survives without ABC or ESPN. I'm watching to see what happens over the weekend before I make decisions for Tuesday.

I have Hulu live, which includes a Disney+ and ESPN+ package for $89. That will give you every station that we have our games, except for Peacock. For what it's worth Peacock usually has a black Friday sale. Last year it was $19 for the year.

Keep in mind that you can toggle Hulu live off for any time you don't want it. Because I also watch football, baseball, hockey, etc. I turn it off June to August and save three months worth of bills, but, if you're only watching basketball, then you would turn it on say October through April. That would make your annual cost $623. (7 months x $89 per month).

I've seen comments on social media implying that ESPN may be holding out to get subscribers onto their ESPN streaming app. If so, how is this allowed? And wasn't ESPN raising their rates for ESPN+ already for the upcoming year?

For as much as I complain about how ridiculous Canadian carriers are, this is just idiotic. TV viewers who have nothing to do with this directly are caught in the middle.

Let me get this straight: HuluLiveTV doesn't include Hulu premium streaming? I assumed it would just be an enhancement to the usual Disney bundle.

The thing is, I assume ESPN is to blame. But it almost doesn’t matter; they have the leverage.

YouTube tv at least is providing a $20 credit. But they are going to bleed a lot of viewers regardless.

I think that ESPN is trying to move their linear viewers to their brand new ESPN Unlimited and Select streaming services. No need to have a TV provider to subscribe to these services.

I have YouTubeTV and ESPN Select. Neither has the live ESPN TV channels as of today.

I found a special deal on line with DirecTV streaming for $48.99 for the first month, cancel anytime. That includes ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN+. If this thing drags on until Monday, I'm tempted to buy it...

Yes, but how many people will drop their TV provider and only use it? From the northern border looking in, while ESPN has a lot, it still seems like a niche offering. Now, if it includes Disney+, I kind of get it but I haven't looked into it in detail.

Long time lurker here!
I've been a DirectV satellite customer a long time, but in the last year the price has really ratcheted up.

I'm considering FUBU TV.

Multiple ESPN channels; MSG and YES network

But, no SNY, TNT/TBS

Any BY'ers using/considering FUBU TV?

Yeah I don't know who they are directing their new products to especially because Disney Streaming currently owns ESPN/ABC and Hulu. But there's been rumors that Disney is trying to sell ESPN.

I dumped FUBO because it was a glitchy mess and no one there seemed the least bit interested in resolving it. Constant interuptions for buffering and lock ups. When I cancelled no one even asked me why... you would think they'd want to know. I went with YouTubeTV and have had exactly zero technical issues... but now this. 😕

Used it last season. It wasn’t cheap, but I only used it during the basketball season. What I didn’t like is it didn’t list all the games, BUT….if you went to browse the games on the ESPN site you could watch them by using your FUBO sign in. Weird. Why not just list all the games on FUBO that I could watch? You can add Peacock to it, but…it’s gonna cost you. Head bang

It includes it, but with ads unless you pay extra.

I went with Hulu+ Live TV. Had to use my husband’s account to get the deal. Conflicting accounts. (ESPN+) I’ll keep it at $65.00 until February or until they straighten out the mess. I also have Peacock with Xfinity internet, so we’re all set for now.

I forgot to mention the $65.00 special ends 11/5/25 @ 3:00PM PT. (6;00 PM EST) after that is at its new regular price of $89.00 a month.
Also IF you are a Xfinity Internet customer, you can get Peacock as part of your streaming apps at no extra cost. Check with Xfinity on how to log in the Peacock app with your Xfinity credentials. I’m not sure what the minimum Mbs are. But it should be on your Xfinity bill. That will cover the Big East, Big 10 and a few other games.

Just checked Xfinity again. You have to have internet at a Gig speed for the included Peacock.

We have YTTB & rather like it (despite its cost & no NFL Network) So we went with the 5-day free trial with FUBO. It at least carries us through the men's & women's game early this week.

I probably could have pirated those Tues/Wed games but there is some uncertainty with that.

If YTTV does chooses to walkaway from it's ABC negotiations I will have some decisions to make. FUBO, Hulu & YTTV (without ESPN) all have their drawbacks of one sort or another. Hurts my head.

no UCONN games this month on One Day Pass
