Canada beating Korea by 9 points with approx 5 minutes left to half.

Japan wins 66-61. Huge Upset in 1st game of the tournament. Australia 1-20 on 3 point shots. Can't win tournament shooting like that.

Canada destroying Korea 63-28 late in 3rd quarter.

Surprised the attendance isn't better as tickets are free for the early games.

Is there a link that gives the ranking (seedings) of the teams and gives some background to get a better feel for the tournament teams? I don't see anything on the FIBA sites. Thanks

Russia must be ranked #3 because of their prior record in tournaments. They've done nothing in the World Championships. They weren't in last years U17 World Championships. They are in this years U19 Tournament.

Joyner Holmes leads in scoring with 9 points. Crystal has 5 Pts and Megan Walker has 3 on a made 3 point shot.

Have to say I'm not impressed with Team USA's low post defense. Will have to get better to win tournament. Don't know if Hebard would make a significant difference is she wasn't in foul trouble.
