Since I like stats...

Historically:

....#1 seeds have a 40.7 % chance of reaching the Final Four

....#2 seeds a 20.7 % chance

....#3 seeds...a 12.1 %

....#4 seeds...a 9.3 %

....#5....a 5 %

every lower seed...less than 5 %

(yeah, I know it has happened...but these are historical odds over time)
 
Good guys along with Creighton, West Virginia and Ohio St. Good guys win the whole thing of course, over WV. 73-66. Watch out for Grand Canyon. This years darling.

WE HAVE to pick UCONN to win it all. I haven't come down from my pool win in 2014. For me it's not big money so who cares? I particularly liked the lack of experts notice or respect until almost the end of that tourney.

Why would you start a thread like this and why would you post anything other than UConn in a thread like this. WE WON THE TITLE AS A 7 SEED. I may just hang the lot of you. That simp @XLCenterFan has crawled back under his rock and posts once a day and I'm still feeling a little hangy.
 
Picking against Gonzaga this year is unwise.

Gonzaga, UConn (Bama in some), Baylor and Houston.
 
I'm depressed. Since 1985, there have only been two national champions that weren't top 4 seeds (one was UConn in 2014, the lowest seed (#7) to win it since Villanova in 1985) and nearly all champs were 1's or 2's (88% were 1, 2 or 3's). It really is a long shot to win as a lower seed. It really sank in when I saw the list and made me appreciate Shabazz and Bout and the 2014 team even more.

I think the lack of top seeds enjoying home cooking playing close to home may make this tournament a bit more open than past ones. One game at a time.

I would have gone with Iowa if they were there. Don’t like the other teams in that bracket. I think Iowa is the best #2 and they are stuck with the Zags.

OSU already gone. I almost went with Texas Tech, have them in Final 8, but it may be Baylor by default.

About two months ago i had a dream that Uconn beat Florida for the national title. That matchup is actually possible as theyre on opposite sides of the bracket.
