Chou is taking KLS's place in the 3x3 tourney alongside Collier and Boykin and she made the U-17 team.

I'm glad to see UConn looking at a number of kids. Natalie sounds like a good one. I like her determination.

I agree! Maybe it's the fact that there are more kids who fit the UConn profile or maybe Geno was a little stressed last year with the lack of depth the team had (though they obviously overcame) and doesn't want that happening again. Either way, I like the fact that we get to examine more kids and try and determine who UConn will really work on recruiting and who they'll just take a glance at. Makes the summer a little more interesting with UConn chatter continuing.

I don't think this is that unusual a situation, except we happen to be three for four on recruits this year. Most years there are somewhere around 6 players that get offers out of a field of 10-15 we take serious looks at. Some years we get a good percentage and some years like this past year we almost get shut out.
The big difference I notice is that we seem to be offering the scholarships earlier than we used to.
The Chou interest seems to be very preliminary and hard to tell id she has serious interest in Uconn.

Assumng UConn gets either Durr or Ogwunbole, I will be very surprised if the 2016 class will be big. Might be a 1 or 2 person class. You have 4 guards/wings + a center in the 2014 class, and currently 3 wings/forwards in the 2015 class (+ possiblity of another guard). Similar to 2013, where not many girls wanted to play behind Stewie, Tuck and Mo for 3 years. KLS and Collier look to be the real deal (Top 5 players/3 year starters) and Boykin a top 10 player. Throw in possibly Durr or Ogwunbole, and I think that may scare a lot of players. And you still have Nurse and Williams (if she heals 100%). Of course, unless you are Lauren Cox (who is the real deal).
