Am I mistaken or wasn't TMU 10-0 going into the UConn game? If true, holy cow, I cannot conceive of the quality of those other 10 teams.

Yep. The announcers mentioned that TMU was 10-0.

TMU is 10-0 in its regular season. But prior to that, in late September and October, they played in 3 tournaments where they went a combined 3-6. TMU lists these 9 games as “exhibition” but Massey nonetheless picked them up as data.

The top-ranked team in U-Sports (per Massey) is Saskatchewan, whose strength rating would place near the bottom among NCAA D1 teams and near the middle among D2 teams. TMU lost to Saskatchewan by 16 points in a preseason tournament.
