Just to supply TMI, I have been diabetic, insulin dependent, since the late 80s, so needles don't bother me, but an ink needle gun, well.....

Tattooing has come a long way. Damn near painless kinda sorta a little bit sometimes. Lol
Also depends on the artist touch.

I am 59. Have always hated tats on both men and women. I have many friends and family that have them. I can think of 1565 things I would rather spend my $$ on.

They said it was a distinguishing mark for the FBI when I was in boot camp. That was enough to dissuade me.

I'm 71, Navy vet and never liked tats. Did know a ship mate that had a few and got them removed while at sea. Back then (60s) removal was skin graft. OUCH! He had that arm in a sling for a long time, healing.
