This team is very soft. But we are doing so many things wrong right now it's kinda like picking on them. Once again we shot 18% from behind the arc. I don't think Boatright has made a three in three games 0-4 tonight. Once again it was Hamilton and Cassel getting their wires crossed on the last play.

But the main problem is they are soft.

Well Nolan does look for body contact before laying down.

I don't think the issue is soft. Brimah is not a good rebounder. Bad positioning and bad hands for rebounding.

Yes, but it's okay for someone else to get an offensive board. We don't hit the offensive glass very hard as a team.

Why not put Lubin in?

Don't know why we didn't play Lubin. We were plenty big and athletic enough, much bigger and more athletic than Yale. Rebounding is attitude and want it especially on the offensive end.

Why not put Lubin in?

Because he's not very good?

Because we recruit project big men still even after winning 4 National Titles?

Tonight was pretty much vindication for those saying there's a problem with recruiting. We depend far too much on the PG to bail us out and when he's banged up there is just nothing there to pick up the slack...even against Yale.

Problem is that we have 3 guards floating on the perimeter and Brimah is under the basket and gets easily muscled, boxed out, and he does not, at this time, have good rebounding hands. He is a good shot blocker and can sometimes score, but he is not a rebounder. He should be getting 10 rebounds per game.

He may not be polished yet but he can use that body to have pulled down a few boards. Couldn't have hurt giving him a chance.

No way Diamond Stone comes here now. He is shaking at the thought of fighting Brimah for minutes. Better to play for Wiscy since they don't have anyone nearly as good to compete against. But that's ok...we don't need no stinkin Diamonds...we have beaten the blue bloods before with our diamonds in the rough.

yet we out rebounded TX

rebounding is about effort and desire, we lacked such tonight
