Yale's inability to hit 3s derailed this comeback attempt. They had quite a number of wide open looks that they bricked that would have made this game even closer.

Damn, some great interior passing but couldn't finish. Still fun as hell tho. Respect Yale.

Really frustrating that such a crap game is on all by itself, and given a CBS slot as well.

Yale was a couple breaks away from taking it to the final possession. You can imagine much worse games.

Also wasn't a fan of Yale not playing out the possession when they were down 4 with little over a minute left. I know its a risk but I would rather play D and hope to get the ball back with 35 or 40 seconds left down 4 instead of down 6 after fouling their best free throw shooter.

They threw away quite a few possessions over the final eight minutes.

They should hold their heads very high, they could have folded before the end of the first half, instead they gave the Dukies one hell of a scare.

.-.
A couple bad turnovers. They had no margin for error. They got too far behind.

Hope KO takes a tape of this game and uses it for film study next preseason. Basically a clinic on how to attack a zone.

Duke would have lost this game if they were playing anybody other than Yale.
