Heard the staff didn’t feel as confident once he left campus. Nice little surprise.

We’ll see what Hurley can do with him. Mullin is pretty damn bad.

Basically, you want him to be just average enough to keep on the floor offensively, and let him make his impact on the defensive end.

Floor of 4 open scholarships now for 2019.

That would be it then, yes? All three scholarships spoken for?
There are rumors out there that Hurley might be trying to recruit over some of the current guys, but my guess would be that this is it for 2018. Enough talent to hopefully compete for a bid this year, and then go after a top 10 class in 2019 with 4-5 guys

Awesome. Nice to have 2018 class accounted for meaning they can move on to 2019. Time for the staff to hone in on 2019 recruits, there's a lot of work to be done and Hurley and his guys need to get off on the right foot... lots of high-rated local talent we need to land.

I wasn’t excited at first but I’m cool with it. At least he can block shots and is only around for a year. Now to 2019.

Hurley obviously sees potential he can work with and develop here. Seems like a nice opportunity for us...and him! Welcome aboard!

I'm sorry, but I look at the resumes of Smith and Yakwe and I see next year's Anderson and next year's Onourah. The resemblance, even physically, is uncanny. In the case of Yakwe and Onuorah, there's even the mystery of why these guys all but disappeared after their freshman year. We all have high hopes for Dan Hurley, but so far it has resulted only in a trade of Akinjo, Matthews and Kisunas for Adams, Smith and Yakwe. Yikes! As I said before, an awful lot of blind trust is being asked for here.
