There is no bigger downside to watching a UConn basketball game live than this abomination. Completely destroys fan involvement in the game and instead creates literally a distraction and deadening of any fan involvement in the actual game.

Makes UConn look like one of those loser programs with only a thousand fans at a no nothing game where you need to pump in fake crowd noise and things to keep the few fans interested.
We are UConn. Be better. There’s a pep band, how about letting me hear them play the fight song instead this crap.

Our gameday atmosphere is absolutely sensational. I cannot disagree with you more

I've been to many arenas, we have nothing to apologize for. The fact that he's had this job for several years now means he is liked

And I remember when the gameday atmosphere was terrible, just one commercial and one sponsor followed by another. Everything to shut us down, not keep us engaged
