XL Scoreboard

First game at XL this season and this topic may have been covered in a previous thread, but what can be done concerning the absolutely horrid graphics and miniscule print size for stats on the main scoreboard?

I was only 4 rows up in Section 200 and could not read timeouts, team fouls, etc... and lord knows what those rotating individual stats said. The 2 corner message boards have basically permanent multiple ads listed. During timeouts the graphics used on the main board honestly look like they were taken from a 1978 Channel 3 newscast.

Embarrassing.

The stats should be in the corners of the center board, rather than the giant blank space, IMO. Also, in every other arena I've ever been in, the ribbon boards are usually used to cycle through team stats and out-of-town scores. XL just keeps repeating the same ads.

the rotating individual stats are at least large enough to read...during the exhibition game, they had the 5 players on the court stats on the side screens and in order to fit it all, it was tiny. Still you need to stare at the screen 15-20 seconds to get all the players' stats....missing the game in the meantime.

FWIW it's better than what they had during the exhibition. For the SCSU game, they had all 5 players squished into that tiny box instead of the 2 at a time they have now. But yeah, so much empty space they aren't using. And I and others have emailed XL center through their website and no response.

The stat display on the new screen is absolutely horrendous. Add to the fact you can't get any cell service in the XL and I feel like I need to start manually charting the stats myself.

There is no way a new arena is being built for UConn BB that is closer to joining Stony Brook in conf than Rutgers.
