Unless you live on campus, it's a hike to get to Storrs.  Concessions suck and they don't sell beer. Tickets are much more limited.

The crowds at Storrs as of late have been anemic.  I was at one game last year at Gampel where they opened up the lower section to anyone in the building.  There are more people at every single women's game than there were at the St. Joe's game.

For anyone who can't remember the old BE, and is singing about Gampel, just wait until a ranked UCONN team squares off in Hartford against a ranked Nova/Georgetown/PC/Marquette/Seaton Hall/Butler/Xavier.

Gampel is good for some games, but I would prefer we leave the scheduling as is...play at both.  To me, it is advantageous for an athletic program to maintain a presence in the center of the state, which is also the capital city.
