Xavier Haiku

I'm not seeing it
That doesn't mean I'm not wrong
I just don't see it

What am I missing?
You read line three as seven?
Con-fer-ence, con-frence
Point is, "road wins are gold" is already 4 syllables, and you can't make "conference" one.

On way to repeat
The Musketeers we shall beat
For Luke’s dad a treat

Ah crap, I failed here
Not putting reply in haiku
Just to prove Hans wrong

Point is, "road wins are
gold" is four syllables and
conference ain't one*

*Syllable Count says
The word is three syllables
Con-fer-ence. OK?

I'm not gonna look
But maybe I meant to quote
A diff'rent haiku

You're totally right
Enough so that I don't care
Yours wasn't haiku

Not putting reply in haiku

Just to prove me wrong?
Dubious motivation
Produced line two muff

Seeing my mistake
Puzzled, humbled, and amused
All in a good way

We're on the same team
And all imperfect beings
Working together

Other two were fine
And kudos for slick use of
Syllable finder
