That didn't happen a year one year ago. Is the ACC really willing to take a worse (on par at best) academic school in UofL only after they slammed the door on WVU's face?
Since then, the ACC has taken SYR and Pitt. Two academic schools with strong athletics. Uconn is the only choice for the ACC.
If the ACC takes UofL, it is the ultimate sign of weakness... They would be throwing away their mission statement and might as well invite Boise State as well.
And, if the ACC considers UofL, why wouldn't they wait to see if WVU is available once the GOR is expiring and the Pac decides to finally take OK, OK ST, Tex, and TT.
