Yes, but UConn's margin of victory was larger than Duke's in games against all four common opponents: Fairfield (35 vs. 32), Notre Dame (31 vs. 29), Michigan State (14 vs. 6 twice), and St. John's (4 & 19 vs. 4 in OT).

To be fair, Duke's Notre Dame & first MSU game were on a neutral court, whereas UConn won at Gampel. All the St. John's games were at MSG.

My point is not to diminish Duke. They came within 3 points of UConn, and were a very worthy opponent.
