OT: Wrestling gone wrong

Most people have no clue about any of this stuff. I mean we had a PGA golfer say the other day he overdosed on creatine to explain away his poor play and a lot of people believed him. Some of these people think creatine is a PED while at the same time they're celebrating people who are juiced to the gills thinking they're clean. I texted a couple of my huge sports fan buddies about the golfer overdosing on creatine and one of them said that's what McGwire in on. The other said isn't that what Sheffield was taking? It's hilarious how little people know about this stuff.

I had friends in high school who played football and hockey who were taking gear along with a few guys who didn't play anything but loved lifting weights and being big...and it's significantly more common nowadays. I used to party with my friend at Central Connecticut State University and all his friends were on the football team, every single one of those guys was on steroids. People are in denial about their favorite athletes, actors, rappers etc. taking gear let alone the guys in their local gym who are on it and don't even look muscular.

The golfer, Ben Griffin, didn't overdose on creatine in the classic sense of intentionally taking too much. He said he did a crappy job mixing his drink and inhaled a huge bit of dry powder and it messed him up.

"I started taking it after my second shot and I accidentally swallowed one of the big rocks that was in my water bottle. I've never overdosed on creatine before, but I think I did in the moment because I didn't really drink any water after that. I basically just inhaled like a snowball."

I've never touched the stuff.

I'm curious to see if the first wrestler who tried to break it up got a dressing down in the locker room. Dude was real half ass trying to stop Jackson and Jackson got in 10 more head shots after first wrestler made contact with Jackson.
I was always under the impression there's an unwritten code amongst wrestlers that if any one starts real shots the other wrestlers have free reign to do whatever they want to break it up.
There's even clips of referees jumping and throwing punches to stop the mayhem.
Yeah. The second wrestler went after him and handled it like a boss, especially given he ran the risk of getting pummeled too. He looked like a real wrestler.

The first guy may have just been in shock and unsure if it was a work or not. He doesn’t look like he’d have any ability to handle him physically. Might have been terrified.

I saw an interview with that guy. He's a badass. Freely admitted to biting the hell out of Raja, called out the wrestling promotion, etc.

Agree the second guy came in aggressive.

And yes first guy most likely would have gotten pummeled but that's the point. You take the heat off the first guy and take the beating until the cavalry comes in. And then you gain mad respect in the locker room and with promoters.

He has no idea what he's talking about. You can't possibly overdose on creatine and creatine can't give you the shakes and tremors, it's not a stimulant.

He must have been taking a pre-workout with stims in it which also had creatine in it or he made the whole thing up which would be really weird.

This is what I'm talking about. So many people are clueless about supplements, PED's, how to build muscle and what you're capable of natural vs unnatural/PED enhanced.

Creatine is great for you, I've been taking it pretty much every day for 15 years.

RFK jr. is 70 and upper body jacked. His legs are toothpicks in comparison and he wears blue jeans to hide that when working out. Was on a clip doing a Navy Seal workout of pushups and pull-ups. What PEDs is he on besides testosterone which he admits to? The Secretary of Health takes PED’s big time.

The tests are easy to get around. It is incredibly hard to get caught in the UFC... like, you basically have to be flaunting the rules enough to piss off Dana to get caught.
This is true, we all saw Israel Adesanya grow a boob and the UFC didn't bat an eye at him for PED use.
