What's average? Going undefeated? Must be if a few road losses is below average

I don't think it's one game that is causing people to be upset. Let's face it, it's poor effort after poor effort after poor effort and one wonders when it will end. People are frustrated and just expect more from this group, and rightfully so.

This is kind of where I'm at. I expected things to be a work in progress and for the team to not hit their stride later in the season but there are areas of improvement that have been there since Game 1 that actually seem to be worsening, mainly their inability to guard the 3 point line and how little they value the ball. I don't understand how you can see a guy hit a 3 and realize he can hit 3s, then continue to go under screens and give away wide open 3s to the same damn guy. Then with the turnovers it seems like the same juncture of the game as the Seton Hall game where they just continued to throw the ball away in the 1st half when they could've been building a lead instead of being stuck on the same score for 5 minutes.

We are horrible right now. The only positive I keep telling myself is, "well we lost 9 games last year"...

Let's not forget, if Boatright didn't get fouled and hit three free throws they would have four losses already and also that this was supposed to be the soft part of the BE schedule. I think the posts here this season are similar to last year and we know how last season ended. The big difference being we had Kemba to carry us and the other players could just play supporting roles. I think all of the posters here who bash those who criticize the team need to take of their rose colored glasses. Kemba is gone and this is an average team at best without him.

Calm down! He brings up a valid point and I happen to agree with him. This teams talent is just too good to be playing this poorly. They play with no intensity and I would not believe you if you told me you haven't been frustrated watching this team the last 5 games. We all knew this team would be a work in progress without Kemba. But It seems as if they've been regressing and playing no where near where they should be at thus point. Hopefully something will click and a leader will emerge from this team

THANK YOU! Ive been ranting about this all year, and I kept getting ripped on. We blew lead after lead against scrub teams. We play with zero effort whatsoever. Its beyond frustrating how much talent we have and how good we can be and yet we keep playing so disinterested and poorly.

Get over it guys. We are not the same team as last year--no leader. Kamba even took time to develop. Men's and womens teams got a butt kicking today. We move forward. Go giants!

I don't think they've been regressing, I just think Big East play rolled around.

WOW losing to both nj teams in the same week is a catastrophe. This team reminds me of that Dyson, Stanley team that went to the NITs. There is no toughness, defense, or leader on this team. Kemba was all of that for us and more. Napier is not the guy to lead this team and didnt play well despite his 23 points. He doesnt play defense, plays more like a 2 guard and not like a point. He can't break the zone at all. Boatright is missing shots but he did good things today and attack the zone well. Lamb was in foul trouble which really hurt him tonight. Giffey who I had hoped would be good tonight didnt show much. Oriakhi was his usual non-existant self. For me he should be on the bench and Roscoe should start in his place.

Drummond was the only guy who had a decent game, but was a turnover machine. I know some of you guys think its still early and all that but there is a problem if you lose to Seton Hall and Rutgers in back to back games.
Lineup for next game for me should be

1: Boatright 2: Lamb 3: Giffey/Daniels 4: Roscoe 5: Drummond
Bench: Napier, Oriakhi, Olander

This lineup is more gritty and bring toughness. Boatright needs to confidence and will be better in crunch time.

The lack of progress is what concerns me about this team. Does anybody think this team is any better right now than they were in November? I haven't really seen strides from anybody, nor have I seen strides in execution. There is still plenty of time to right the ship, but they better get it together quick, because the schedule is only going to get tougher. Not being able to beat teams like Rutgers, or stay in the game against Seton Hall, is very concerning. I can take some sloppiness in November, but we're at the point in the season where the guys should be coming together. I don't expect them to be firing on all cylinders, but this team doesn't have an identity, and just looks clueless at times.

Yeah I dunno why I said I could refrain from enjoying these posts for 4 more months. Who was I kidding anyway?

I definitely won't be posting as much since arguing with half the people here is like arguing with a 7 year old so it isn't even worth the mental energy, but maybe I'll make a thread here or there to stir up some trouble. I mean some of you guys are just too easy.

Kid who makes thread about leaving board call us immature. You should just change your username start fresh since you have exposed yourself.
