I wish some day I can forget the awful start to that game. UCONN started the game two for twenty from the floor and had only five points with 7:21 left in the first half. They actually had a stretch of 10:38 without scoring a point. They finished 5 of 29 for the first half. It was so sick, they even missed all four free throws the first half. I can't even watch the replay of the game.
As I remember the Stanford many of those shots were rushed and bad shots. Many yesterday appeared to be wide open and short or offline. Just bad shooting not necessarily bad shots. I mean numerous foul shots just clanked. 8-14 from the line in the 1st half and that was with Saniya 3 of 4 after she came in. The rest of the team was 5 for 10 from the line.
