be more likely to come here if we were in the Big East?
And is he possibly going to pressure us to get in the Big East if he wants to come here?

How do you know he doesn't want to come here? And if he does how would anyone know that he would have been "more likely" if UConn was in the Big East?

Kind of a strange question.

I think any coach who’s interested in the UConn job understands that there’s plenty of room for us at/near the top of the AAC. If you can challenge for AAC titles every year, NCAA tourney success would likely follow.

As many have said, if UConn and Memphis were merely competent, this could be a pretty decent basketball league.

Another new thread. Yay.

If UConn and Memphis do in fact go back to normal we could see Wichita Cincinnati UConn Memphis and if Sampson remains Houston. Top heavy. Then temple is great for the middle along with Dawkins at UCF. Bottom still needs to work it out but there is some optimistic future prospects in this conference. SMU could also continue their rise as well

And Odom at ECU, for the time being,(pending a KSU upset) seems to show promise and now we are on par or past the W(P)AC 12.

There's a lot wrong with the AAC for UCONN. For one, it's not the ACC or BiG. That said, the last thing wrong with our men's hoop program is our conference affiliation. The last two seasons have been brutal because our talent, player development, recruiting, coaching, offense, defense you name it..........all sucked.

Get a good coach in and UCONN will head up the AAC. There was no reason for this falloff if we had competent leadership. Dominate the AAC, which UCONN clearly has the ability to do, and then conference affiliation will take care of itself.

Me, in regard to why this needed a new thread:
