The last time UConn got beat by 30+ was Nov. 2007 against an elite WVU squad that went on to beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl and finish ranked #6 in the country at 11-2.
It has been over seven years since Syracuse beat an FBS team by 30. The last time was Sept. 10, 2005, when they beat Buffalo 31-0. (That Buffalo team was horrendous and finished the year 1-10.)
You look at those facts and you absolutely have to put the blame on this coaching staff. They inherited a team that essentially never got beat badly and managed to get beat badly . . . by a team that hasn't successfully run anyone off the field in 7 years!
