A double letter start word. The first of many to come, they gave us a list. I replied "who uses a double letter word as a start word". So I'm proud of my 3.
Maybe. It's just a wasted slot. DROVE is always better than RODEO. I'm simply using my start word approach on line 2. Today that worked well because the E and misplaced A told me A had to be at the start and another vowel had to be in slot 3. But DROVE might have gotten me a 2.I suppose all these unorthodox start words might help increase your solving flexibility, over time. Starting with a handicap and then working around it, etc.
It could've been something like 'halve' or 'salve'.Maybe. It's just a wasted slot. DROVE is always better than RODEO. I'm simply using my start word approach on line 2. I just used a word clearing the exact same letters + one more. This is what’s coming next. Some are truly awful like TRACT.It could've been something like 'halve' or 'salve'.
That said, it was a crappy starting word.
It looks like they are going down a list of previous solutions. Haven’t checked the list, but I remember Crone, Venom, and Mossy.I just used a word clearing the exact same letters + one more. This is what’s coming next. Some are truly awful like TRACT.

Yep. every single one has been used.It looks like they are going down a list of previous solutions. Haven’t checked the list, but I remember Crone, Venom, and Mossy.
I checked it. You had just the one word.I'm guessing I had one option? Last time I used 'grave' I think I got nothing.
