Just following the “rules” regarding double letters

Swung for the fences on line 1, but thought I had it in 5 anyway. When comma didn't work, it took a bit to regroup and figure it out.

My dull ass sat at the 3rd guess for quite a while before figuring out what the last remaining possible word was:

Same as HuskyHawk, except I did it with the E and the I at the same time. And my 3rd guess was frankly not great - at that point you generally shouldn't be guessing words that are highly unlikely to be the answer.

Didn't go with instincts... was going to put 'drool' on 3rd line, but talked myself out of it. Likely would've had a 4 if I did that.
