Kind of a wild 3 for me. Before I started I checked a list of previous wordle solves, and then thought, "Wait a second - I just spoiled today's word, didn't I?! Dammit."

So then I figured I'd purposely mess around and then "solve" it in 4, and not bother posting in this thread today. But then after I did my 2nd guess, I realized that today's word wasn't in the list yet, and I actually needed to solve it. Got moderately lucky on that 3rd guess.

Got up to find out if I had the day off. I do. Not exactly awake so my 2nd guess was stupid, should have been "ABOUT". I was saved by the rule. Several words left but all of them double letters, except this.

Got myself a new Chromebook yesterday. Oddly, this time NYT kept my scores from the 15 games I played on the crap wintel, but still didn't give me back my 300+ original games.

Unfortunately also lost the scores from last two weeks - I had a couple of deuces & couple of 3s, so at least the crappy backup lenovo was a lucky charm at xordle.
