It didn't look like I had eliminated much, but I think I was down to BOOTH, BOOTY and PHOTO.

It's possible that the Wordle applet would also have accepted "QUOTH," though I don't think that's the kind of word that they'd use as an actual solve.

Yeah I debated that for a while; I figured there were at least five options (G, K, L, V or T) and I had three chances. Normally I have the confidence to go with a gut feeling, but I wasn't feeling it this morning. My first three instincts were STAKE, STAVE or STAGE, so I'm glad I went with the waster word.

I did blow one line with a letter already eliminated from that space. My last guess was "aerie", so if I had that mistake back, I would've gotten "eerie" on last guess and then got the bonus... which I likely would've still missed.

There are no "easy 2s". Even if you go with the theme, you can guess wrong.
