Where does one ever encounter an obsolete term for a young hawk?

@FriarJ mentioned it as a great Wordle starter word either in this thread or elsewhere on the board when we first started discussing it. I don’t use the same word every day, and I prefer to start with two vowels and three consonants, so I don’t use it often. But I was looking for a word with ‘O’ and ‘A’ for my starter today and that one came to mind.

This word sucks. Barely avoided two fails in a week. Again, getting one vowel right can be a disadvantage if you don’t use the Bot approach.

I was either going with TAUNT or TAINT. The double T was a benefit as it would definitively nail down the location. Lucky is better than good.

For me, reading the Wordle Bot afterwards was quite entertaining.

Some bits of data from it:
1. This one apparently ended up being tricky, with the Bot reporting an 85% solve rate in the 6th word (most words are well into the 90s, as high as 99%).
2. It's the first time I've seen it give me an outright 0 in the "skill" category for a word that was not only a valid solve, but the actual solve. I know why, of course - there were more words left than guesses, so I got by on luck.
3. Apparently Wordle would have accepted the following as guesses: VAUNT, MAUNT, and SAUNT.

I think we need to adapt to an increased frequency of double-letter words. We are getting them at least twice a week now it seems.
