Fairly logical, actually, if goal is to clear vowels. Lucky in that you didn't choose 'avoid'. Kinda same with Jazz's 2.

My problem was that I didn't think I needed to clear more vowels.

I had an A and a B matched. So AVOID wouldn't work. Jazz matched nothing so a bit more of a guess. But all 2s are mostly luck.
