Strange that the men can go and the women aren't going. Kaleena was scheduled to throw out the first pitch. I thought it was strange that Kaleena was throwing out the first pitch as I thought Stef or Bria would, unless they were tied up with WNBA business.

Maybe the conflict is schoolwork. It's the last week of classes and I'm sure there are projects/papers due and exams are coming up. Between the tournament, championship celebrations and hosting recruits, there have been a lot of demands on the players' time.

That was my thinking - maybe the number of players that had to miss the trip reached a tipping point and the rest didn't want to be celebrated without their teammates?

The men are all there. Just saw the whole group on the field. Bria's already on her way to DC after a stop off in NY. It just would have been nice of both teams were there.

Bria was in Storrs today. Mystics training camp starts later this week. She probably has classes that require papers rather than finals. She is on schedule to graduate.
