The WN soccer team will suit up starting this Wednesday for a regional Olympic qualifying tournament. The women play on Feb. 10 (Costa Rica); Feb. 13 (Mexico); and Feb. 15 (Puerto Rico). Group playoffs continue from Feb. 19 to the 21st. Games can be seen streaming on NBC and some will be shown on the NBC network. It's not clear what will be available to whom and when. Check your you-know-what for you-know-what . . .
The WNT is, IMO, the soccer equivalent to all of the qualities we enjoy in UConn women's basketball. I know from last fall that many of you enjoy women's soccer. Following the Olympic qualifier in early March, England, France, and Germany will come to the US for a pre-Olympic warm-up. Great games ahead. Enjoy.
