Women's Game Changes to Quarters Should Men's Follow?

LOL at the only competition with halves. Um soccer Mike?

So, timeout at the 10th minute, instead of the 12th.

It's a meaningless change, but the main thing I don't like about it is having an extra situation with time winding down. Not needed. Just let the game flow.

Guarantee this confuses the hell out of the fans at the women's games this year when they first see 10 minutes on the clock to start the game.

Well instead of 4/8/12/16 (minutes in) it would just be 5 minutes in to each quarter. Currently we have 8, the change would knock that down to 6. I'd rather have 6 breaks with the quarter break being 30 seconds longer and halftime being 2 minutes longer than the current setup.

I like it. It follows the WNBA. The men will follow in a few years just like the 30 sec. shot clock.

Think there will be a lot of people leaving women's games at the half?

"It's over already!? boy my dementia is really getting bad"

... always thought Women's Bball should have periods instead of quarters ;):D;)

Didn't we already try this once, only with an experimental 40 second shot clock added in?

Seems designed for our opponents: "we may not win this game, but let's try to win the 2nd/3rd/4th quarter"
