Look at http://courantblogs.com/uconn-women/looking-ahead-to-uconns-2013-14-season/
As we await confirmation of the anticipated demise of the Big East Conference, or at least as we once knew it, here is some information about how the 2013-14 will stack up for the UConn women.
Once again, this is the way UConn’s new conference will look:
Big East holdovers: Cincinnati, UConn and South Florida
Short-timers: Louisville (ACC) and Rutgers (Big Ten), both in 2014-15
New additions: Houston, SMU, Memphis, Central Florida, Temple.
UConn is set to play a 31-game regular-season schedule next season.
Among those will be 18 conference games (home and away against the other nine teams).
They will play 7 non-conference home games against: St. Bonaventure, Boston University, Old Dominion, Cal-Davis, Stanford, Oregon and Hartford.
They will play 4 non-conference road games at: Duke, Baylor, Maryland and Penn State
They will play 2 neutral site games: Ohio State (Springfield, Mass) and likely California (Madison Square Garden)
Just like this season, ESPN will have first pick of up to seven games, the number they signed up for this season.
It’s not known yet how CBS and CBS Sports Network will factor in.
SNY will take the others.
