Title 9 was created to ensure equity in the programs of member institutions. After all more than half the degrees conferred are to females. More than half the enrolled students are female. How about if title 9 were applied to the NCAA itself? I beleve that perfect equity is a goal and will never be achieved, but at present there is not even the appearance of an effort by NCAA in any area of their operation.

Money wise, it's suppose to be split evenly spent between the 'women & men'. It is heavily out weighted on the men's side ! As for the women. are short changed. Sorry, as you can see, 'No Money, No Honey' !

Maybe women's basketball, much like the P5 football school's have been contemplating, should break away from the NCAA. They can then fund their own tournaments, make their own endorsement deals, and reap all the benefits with their new found riches that they should be getting now but aren't. Operate as a completely independent body.
