DT on one leg is still more clutch than most people on two.

No Stewie AND Loyd had a terrible game and this went to OT. Like I said, Phoenix gets killed next round.

Bad end game management by both teams. Jewel taking all of the shots in OT. Phoenix going through SDS but is more effective with BG taking the shot
 
Phoenix misses another pair of FTs, but another terrible shot by Loyd misses by a mile. Why are they putting the ball in her hands? How many times do you have to see the same thing not work before you try something else?
 
Bird's turn to take a terrible shot. OT has been complete garbage.
 
Phoenix is 13-24 from the FT line. Nurse finally hit a pair for them, might've iced it.

Lloyd has made some terrible decisions. They keep going to her and she can't hit the broad side of a barn.
 
The Olympics did absolutely no favors to the Storm. Never the same team after the break.
 
Looks like a good one brewing in the other game. McBride going nuts for Minnesota. Lynx up 23-20.

edit--23-22 thru Q1. Pretty much all McBride and Fowles for Lynx. Balanced scoring for Sky.
 
The crowd chanting one more year to Sue, with DT urging the crowd. Sue told DT to stop. Based upon that interview, it seems like Sue is done

Pheesa missed a fairly easy put back at the buzzer of Q1 and before that got blocked from a nice crystal feed.. Just out of rhythm :confused:

You can't discount the Commissioners' Cup emotional impact either. That was a finsh line in itself and the focus let up after that.

Other than the nice $ bonus, that game was less than meaningless. Sun have been unstoppable since and Storm have mostly sucked.
