It's the right move. She can't take them over the top and she's not exactly one of the best coaches in the league anyway.

She wasn't dumped by Connecticut. It was a mutual decision per the ESPN article. It was also noted White was dealing with some family stuff after the Sun lost in the semis.

My hunch is that Ms. White initiated the whole thing after contacting or being contacted by the Fever. She is an Indiana native and a Purdue alumna. And who wouldn't want the opportunity to coach Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston?

Regarding the something stinks comment, I hear you. It reminds me of the Belichick Jets to the Patriots move, but we don't know the full extent of the situation. Coach White was dealing with family issues after the semis and her comments once her leaving Connecticut were official touched on this point too.
Think about this strictly as a basketball decision. Indiana is definitely a better job than Connecticut moving forward imo. You look at the tv ratings, the crowds, the young pieces on the roster. Sides took care of the worst two years of the rebuild.
