I'm watching the Fever vs. Silver Stars at the moment. Love watching Danielle Adams but there is no doubt that her physical conditioning is at the level she got it to during her Senior year at A&M. Kayla Alexander has looked good so far.

I read that Becky Hammon has a broken finger, but have the announcers made any mention of Sophia Young and why she is not suited up? SA is pretty short-handed without those two, IMHO

Adams is huge!! She must be the heaviest player in the WNBA. I think she was living too close to a Whataburger restaurant.

Earlier they said she tore her Acl in the last game of her China season.

Looking forward to tomorrow's Tulsa/Atlanta game. :)

GM survey of top acquisitions
Griner to Phoenix: 41.7%
Harding to LA: 25%
Latta to Mystics: 8.3%

Interesting that neither EDD nor Diggins are in the top 3. These GMs obviously don't know their stuff.

I think her health (DA) is in jeopardy. Makes me ache to watch her. Can't she hit the gym? She could be really really good.

The crowd seemed great....

Ouch - I had forgotten that but now it rings a bell. I sure hope she can come back strong next season.

Did DA really look that much bigger...? :-O

The DA watch is not a fun one. Obviously has the skills, but not the will. At least Whitmore had some years when she was in shape (though I wouldn't wish her attitude on any team.).

Makes you wonder what would have happened to the Paris twins had they come to UCONN. Sad to see people not be able to have a career. It's tough going, for little pay. I sure hope the league doesn't fold. That would be so sad.

CP was allowed to go through 4 years at OU and never get in shape or work on her shooting. She left OU virtually no better than when she arrived on campus.

And she was released from the league on the last day (or near the last day). No one else picked her up right? Too bad. BTW... did she ever pay OU back for her scholarship $$? ;)

Seeing the pic of Becky Hammond makes me realize how much I don't like her since her decision to play for Russia in the Olympics. I wish that we're something I could get past.
