WNBA question

Was looking back at the draft and current rosters and noticed these players were not listed. Were they all cut? Or is it just that they were injured and out all season?

9) achonwa
11) gray
14) Marshall
15) bussie
18) Orekhova
19) Plouffe
20) Harberts
23) Hamson
24) Foggie

Meanwhile the 3rd round continues to be largely a throwaway pick just 3/12 are still around (Plaisance, Faulkner, Taylor).

Actually, it's anyone in the bottom half -- just 5 of the last 18 survived.

Achonwa and Gray were out for the year with injuries, and Hamson had previously told the WNBA that she planned to return to BYU to use her last year of volleyball eligibility before being available in summer 2015. The rest were cut, either in training camp or early in the season.

It's just that hard to make a W team.... Classic point of the triangle when you're (all but) a compilation of the best of the best.

18) Orekhova --made initial roster then cut a few games into the season. Didnt play very much.
19) Plouffe --I believe she was a cut before the final roster was set. She played for Team Canada this summer.
20) Harberts-cut on the final round of cuts before the rosters were set--Now in Australia to begin her Pro Career. note: see my avatar for the team she is on.
23) Hamson--was not going to play this year as she will still be at BYU and will be playing volleyball this fall. will decide on her future after college is done,
