WNBA Playoff Picture as of 8/24

Some shuffling might still occur, especially seed 6-8. Hopefully the Sun can clinch that 3 seed... looks like the best path to the championship. I'd rather face the Lynx than the Sparks right now and the Liberty have been the most troublesome team of the bottom 5 for the Sun. 1st Round is September 7th (they have been announcing that date at the Arena, but wnba.com says the 6th), 2nd Round September 10th. Semi-finals begin September 12th.

Read the white letters. Teams are reseeded after the first two rounds. The survivors might not even be the original 3 and 4 seeds.

That's a good point on the reseeding.

No point in looking ahead at this point anyway. The Sun have not clinched the #3 spot. DC and/or NY could overtake them. They have only clinched the #5 seed at this point. If my math is correct (please correct me if wrong), any combination of 3 Sun wins and/or Mystic losses clinches the #4 spot and the first round bye. It would be HUGE to earn that 1st round bye.
